Salem Church - Staten Island, N.Y.
Associate Director of Worship Arts (2013 - Present)
Creative Director (2007 - 2013)
Currently, I'm serving at Salem Church where I've spent the last 6 years as a Creative Director and a Worship Leader with their great team. My primary responsibilities revolve around the execution of the services. It's been a pleasure of mine to help build teams from the ground up that have become exceptional and it's a privilege to lead the teams that make the Sunday experiences at Salem happen.
- Leading multiple teams comprised of over 30 volunteers and support staff, to accomplish weekly, multimedia-rich events that have seen an increase in attendance from 180 (July 2007) to 1,500 (April 2014).
- Training musicians, engineers, service producers, and worship leaders in the functional aspects of their task while discipling them. The vast majority of recruited volunteers have served for over 5 years.
- Building relationships and creating community among artists and creatives.
- Creating all charts and part recordings for instrumentalists and vocalists as they prepare for rehearsals and services.
- Composing loops and backing tracks that are integrated with the live band for a professional sound and experience.
- Creating lighting presets for services and events that enhance the worship experience.
- Overseeing division budgets of $20,000 to $35,000 in addition to owning multi-year technology and venue upgrade purchasing roadmaps.
- Successfully introduced and implemented a database system for scheduling volunteers and managing resource files that reduced administrative hours by over 60% while increasing volunteer retention and satisfaction.
- Launched two iterations of http://salemchurchnyc.org. This included all research, copywriting, photography, graphic design, layout, Google apps integration and the staff training required to use the CMS.
- Navigated multiple concurrent projects as the primary liaison between contractors, volunteers, and executive directors.
- Led and directed all internal, and community facing, marketing campaigns in web, print, and video during a season of unparalleled growth.
- Championed, strategized, and led many look-and-feel improvements in a multiethnic, multigenerational environment focusing specifically on engagement.
Freelance Creative Consultant
Graphic Design, Web Design, Brand Development (2001 - Present)

- Developed a small, successful consulting business.
- Created lasting brand strategies for clients that have helped them reach new markets.
- Skilled at creating mockups and comps in Photoshop and Keynote.
- Focused on delivering self-contained products to clients so that they control the destiny of their business without continued support.
- Provided deliverables on time and within the budget constraints of clients because of accurate and clearly defined estimations.
- Created 9 graphics for the multi-platinum selling musical group "Weezer" that were used on thousands of pieces of merchandise.
Instrumental Instructor

- Created curriculum for private instruction on a variety of musical instruments.
- Helped students achieve their personal goals by having the experience to understand their technical and conceptual roadblocks.
Liberty University
Musician, Recruiter (2004 - 2007)
In 2004, I was selected to join the traveling ministry team The Sounds of Liberty. Being able to be a part of worship services at such a grand scale and with so many world-class ministries has left a permanent mark on me. What an honor.
- Was selected through audition to receive a full scholarship for musical performance.
- Played over 300 concerts across 40 states in 3 years for audiences as large as 30,000.
- Contributed to the production of 2 albums and created the performance tracks to all live material.
- Created a workflow for producing pre-recorded backing tracks to supplement live musical performances. This was adopted campus wide.
- Promoted Liberty University and recruited students to attend through games, giveaways, and short informational sessions.
While a part of "The Sounds of Liberty", I had the privilege to partner with some great artists and organizations:
The Brooklyn Tabernacle, Prestonwood Baptist Church, The Florida Baptist Convention, Focus on the Family, Thomas Road Baptist Church, Superconference with Charles Billingsly, Christian Supply’s Choral Festival 2006 with Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, Wintley Phipps, and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers, Christian Supply’s “The Gathering 2007” with Randy Phillips, and the March for Life Rally in Washington DC.
